My stay here had its ups and downs. The location by the beautiful Hokianga Harbour is stunning, and the room truly offered a great view. However, the facilities felt tired and needed some refurbishing. While I enjoyed a drink in the pub, the dining experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Overall, it's a place with character, but it could use some TLC to improve the overall experience.
I had a pleasant experience at this hotel, offering stunning views of the sand dunes and a lovely deck to enjoy meals. While the atmosphere was charming, the tight parking situation meant I felt a bit constrained. Overall, it was a nice place to stop for food, but I've seen better dining options elsewhere.
I had a mixed experience at this resort. The location by Hokianga Harbour was incredible, providing beautiful views right from my room. The atmosphere had a unique charm, but the dining experience left much to be desired, especially for breakfast. While the rooms were clean, they felt a bit tired. I enjoyed the pub for a drink but found the restaurant lacking overall.
This camp spot has a stunning view overlooking the harbor and is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, which I loved. However, the amenities are quite dated, and I had a rather unpleasant experience with the camp owner, which put a damper on my stay. I appreciated the beautiful scenery, but several aspects of my visit left me feeling frustrated.
During my stay at the resort, I appreciated the beautiful harbor views from my balcony, which made my experience quite special. However, the room was compact and a bit cramped, and I had to deal with some flea issues that weren’t ideal. The staff was generally helpful, especially given the busy Easter weekend, but there were moments of disorganization. Overall, the value for the price paid was decent considering the location and views, but the accommodations could use some improvements.
